杨梦Meng YANG

YANG Meng is Assistant Professor at Peking University and the founder of the general education courses “Jewish Civilization in a Global Context” and “Yiddish Language and Jewish Culture” in China.

Her doctoral research focused on the Jewish community in Shanghai during the Shoah. Additionally, she is recognized for her musical contributions as the singer and co-writer of the first Chinese-Yiddish song, which was published by FORWARD. She has been a fellow at prestigious institutions such as Yad Vashem (Israel), Salzburg Global Seminar (Austria), Tikvah Fund (USA), and Kathryn Davis(USA), etc. She is also a member of the Association for Israel Studies and the Association for Jewish Studies.

She has delivered public lectures in the United States, Canada, Israel, China, and Germany, etc. Her scholarly work includes publications on various topics, including Holocaust education in China, global antisemitism, the Jewish exile in Shanghai, Sino-Israeli innovation cooperation, and Jewish civilization etc. Please feel free to be in touch: allshallpass@gmail.com
