Arielle Nakdimon

Arielle Nakdimon is a PhD student in Antisemitism Studies at Gratz College, in the institution’s inaugural cohort. Her emerging research focuses on the intersection of philanthropy and contemporary antisemitism, particularly how donor influence shapes education, nonprofit agendas, and institutional responses.

She holds an MA in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and has over twenty years of experience in nonprofit leadership and Holocaust education. With a background in nonprofit strategy, leadership, and program development, she brings practical insight to academic inquiry. Her work spans Holocaust education, public engagement, and Jewish communal advocacy, all of which inform her interdisciplinary approach to understanding and addressing antisemitism today.

She was invited to participate as a Scholar-in-Residence in the ISGAP-Oxford Summer Institute for the Development of Curriculum in Critical Contemporary Antisemitism Studies.

Her academic interests include the role of institutional culture and philanthropy in shaping discourse on antisemitism, antizionism in academic and communal contexts, and the erosion of Holocaust memory in public life.
