Christoph Fischer

Christoph Fischer is a PhD student and Research Associate at Trier University, (Germany).

After completing his law degree with a major in criminal law, he began his academic career focusing on European and German criminal law and criminal procedure law.

He gave a paper at the “Contemporary Antisemitism London 2025” conference titled “‘From the River to the Sea’ – A German Perspective on the Criminal Liability of Israel-Related Antisemitism.” He is working further on this area of research.

He has worked on legal remedies against antisemitism in political parties and is currently further specialising his research on Israel-related antisemitism. He has a particular focus on clear definitions, in the legal fight against antisemitism.
