Now retired, Eve Garrard was a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Keele University and then an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Manchester. Her gentleness and diffident humility mask an ability to strip an antisemitic poseur to their intellectual bones with a few words. Eve has written strong pieces in Fathom and on Engage. She was a friend and collaborator with Norman Geras. Eve is always hugely supportive of other people who are writing on antisemitism, reading, suggesting, editing, adding Oxford commas, toughening up people’s writing.
