Hüseyin Çiçek

Priv.-Doz. Mag. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek is a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Psychology at Sigmund Freud University in Vienna, Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Vienna, and Associate Fellow at the Academy for International Affairs in Bonn.

He completed his Habilitation at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2021 with a study on religion, violence, and minority dynamics in global contexts. His research focuses on antisemitism, extremism, radicalisation, migration, and politico-religious ideologies.

Dr. Çiçek regularly publishes in international journals and serves on various academic and policy advisory boards.
