Kara Jesella

Kara Jesella is author of a book about feminism and antisemitism to be published in late 2025 by Routledge in the Studies in Contemporary Antisemitism series, in collaboration with the London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism. She has a PhD and an MA in Performance Studies from New York University, where she focused on feminist theory, and a BA in Women’s Studies and English from Vassar College. She was the Managing Editor of Women & Performance, an academic journal, and the co-author of How Sassy Changed My Life: A Love  Letter to the Greatest Teen Magazine of All Time, a cultural history of a feminist publication.
