Marc Neugröschel
Dr Marc Neugröschel is a Research Associate at St Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge. A sociologist, he earned his PhD and MA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to this, he studied at RWTH University in Aachen, Germany, his birthplace and hometown. He worked as a lecturer and Holocaust educator at the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem. In addition, he is a freelance journalist published in German and Israeli newspapers.
His current research scrutinizes the role of historical revisionism in the justification of the 7 October 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel. His past research dealt with antisemitism among the American far right, antisemitism on social media, the connections between antisemitism and anti-Americanism, and the role of antisemitism and anti-Americanism in discourse about European and German identity.
