Marc Seul

Marc Seul is a Co-Founder, Research Fellow, and Member of the Collegial Leadership of the Initiative for Interdisciplinary Antisemitism Research (IIA) at Trier University, Germany.

He studied Political Science, Philosophy, and Intercultural Gender Studies, earning his M.A. with First-Class Honours.

He is pursuing a PhD project at Passau University under the supervision of Prof. Lars Rensmann, exploring how German political parties conceptualize and debate antisemitism, including its relationship to memory politics and Middle East policy.

He has co-edited several scholarly volumes on contemporary antisemitism and German memory politics, including Erinnern als höchste Form des Vergessens? (Um-)Deutungen des Holocaust und der ‘Historikerstreit 2.0’ (Berlin 2023), and co-organizes the bi-annual Trier Antisemitism Conference for Young Scholars.
