Stephan Grigat, Research Fellow
Stephan Grigat is Professor for Antisemitism Studies at the Catholic University of Applied Science in North Rhine-Westphalia and head of the Center for Antisemitism and Racism Studies (CARS) in Aachen.
He received his PhD from the Free University of Berlin, is Lecturer for Political Science at the University of Vienna and Research Fellow at the Herzl Institute for the Study of Zionism at the University of Haifa. He has been Research and Teaching Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Visiting Professor at the Moses Mendelssohn Center for European and Jewish Studies at the University of Potsdam and at the Justus Liebig University of Gießen.
He is Co-founder and was until 2021 Academic Director of the NGO STOP THE BOMB – Coalition for a nuclear-free and democratic Iran in Austria.
He has published op-eds in Die ZEIT, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, Der Tagesspiegel, taz, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Der Standard and Die Presse.
