Talia Rockman
Talia Rockman is an MA candidate in Sociology at the University of Ottawa and holds a B.A. (Hon.) in Psychology from the University of Guelph. Her MA thesis includes a sociological analysis of qualitative data of professors’ experiences with antisemitism on Canadian campuses.
Talia serves as a Research Assistant for several projects related to the impact of antisemitism on Canadian campuses, including in the context of EDI and in faculty unions’ activism. She has presented her research on the parallels between misogyny and antisemitism at the 2025 London Conference on Contemporary Antisemitism and at the 2025 Brock University Symposium on Antisemitism.
Talia intends to pursue doctoral work that will investigate the experiences of Jewish graduate students since October 7, 2023, and how campus culture has influenced their opportunities for peer and faculty mentorship.
