Tim Stosberg

Tim Stosberg is a PhD candidate at Passau University where he pursues a research project on German media discourse on contemporary antisemitism under the supervision of Prof. Lars Rensmann.

He holds an M.A. in International Studies/Peace and Conflict Studies and a B.A. in Political Science. In 2018/2019, he studied as an exchange student in the Woodman-Scheller Israel Studies International Program at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

His research focuses on antisemitism among “progressive” actors and within the fields of postcolonial and settler colonial studies. He has published in several edited volumes, most recently in Antisemitismus in Deutschland nach dem 7. Oktober, edited by Olaf Glöckner and Günther Jikeli, and co-published a German translation of Adam Kirsch’s On Settler Colonialism.

He is also a founding member of the Gesellschaft für kritische Bildung (Association for Critical Education).
