Yael Silverstein

Yael Silverstein is a Ph.D. candidate in Social-Organizational Psychology with a M.S. Applied Statistics at Columbia University. Her research examines how stereotypes and stereotype violations, particularly around gender, ethnicity, and Jewish identity, shape perceptions and outcomes in social and organizational contexts. She also investigates how social experiences and institutional cues impact minority individuals’ sense of value, belonging, and well-being. Her current work includes the development of a new scale to measure contemporary antisemitic experiences.
