Yvonne Maxwell

Yvonne is the freelance Head of Volunteering at LCSCA, responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating the volunteer programme.

With a diverse and extensive professional background, she brings valuable experience from statutory services, government departments, and the charitable sector.

Yvonne served for seven years as an elected local Councillor, including three years as a Cabinet Member.

This broad experience has equipped her with skills in strategic thinking, project management, evaluation, policy development, and partnership building, as well as hands-on roles.

Yvonne has worked with volunteers across a range of settings, from large national charities to smaller organisations. Her responsibilities have included recruiting, supervising, training, and managing volunteers.
