Ambassador Volunteer

Purpose of role

The London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism (LCSCA) is an academic centre dedicated to confronting antisemitism in universities, writing, research, and theory. We aim to make our work accessible to a broader audience through various formats, including journalism, blogs, podcasts, videos, events, and social media.

This role involves developing these initiatives, building partnerships, and engaging in fundraising efforts. Specifically, we aim to establish connections with synagogues, businesses, and Jewish student groups.

Tasks

We are looking for ambassadors who can help us connect with synagogues, businesses, and university student groups.

We invite you to promote the work of LCSCA within your synagogue, community, or university and to recommend us for any fundraising opportunities.

Some potential activities include:

  • Establishing relationships with synagogues to arrange for speakers, host book tours, and recommend fundraising initiatives for LCSCA.
  • Sharing our volunteering opportunities.
  • Distributing our research and materials to empower students and the wider community in addressing antisemitic narratives.

  • Promoting our work and supporting fundraising efforts.
